About This Book
The aims of this book are to reduce costs in
two areas – training new and existing Professionals, increase productivity by reducing
the average time per fault investigation.
Two questions were posed at the beginning.
They were: What sort of knowledge does a person need to find faults on broken
Combi boiler? And how does he/she use this knowledge to find and cure the fault?
The feedbacks from the trade told us that
most know little about the correct functioning of the Combi at component level
but have no problem in installing them. We therefore have concentrated on the
notion of replaceable or repairable parts. We called it a critical
component. So a fault in the boiler can be referred to fault in a
critical component.
Fortunately, all critical components in the
Combi share some basic and common functions that can be easily
understood. The only knowledge needed about the Combi boiler is the
hierarchy of critical components and the relationship between them. Most of it
can be inferred from the manufactures Installation and Service Instructions. The
Book shows how you can use them.
The book therefore, first will help to
increase the profit and performance of new and existing professionals. And
secondly, provide professionals in related disciplines with easy-to-read and
understand but authoritative information on faultfinding Combi boiler.
